American Physical Therapy Association Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy
The Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy is a subgroup of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for those therapists working with older adults, and publishes the Journal of Geriatrics Physical Therapy. There are special interest groups within the Academy, including Balance and Falls, Bone Health, Cognitive and Mental Health, Global Health for Aging Adults, Health Promotion and Wellness, and Residency/Fellowship.
