Turkish Geriatric Physiotherapy Association

The Turkish Geriatric Physiotherapy Association is an official professional organisation for physiotherapists working with older people in Turkey, linked with the Turkish Physiotherapy Association. The executive committee includes members who are specialists in different aspects of physiotherapy for older people – such as geriatric orthopaedics, geriatric cardiopulmonary, geriatric neurology, and prosthetics – to provide models of physiotherapy for older people in multidisciplinary teams for geriatric care. Filiz is the General Secretary of the Turkish Geriatric Physiotherapy Association and the representative delegate for Turkey in IPTOP.
